What if we need to reschedule or cancel?

For reschedules, I totally get that things happen that may be out of your control. So with that being said, we will find you a new available date on my schedule and have you booked pretty fast. All of your payments will be waived over to your new date, no rescheduling fees necessary! *If possible, please give me within a 30 day notice to reschedule your event.*

if you cancel entirely without notice, or I'm not available for your new chosen date, there will unfortunately be no refunds, as every payment is non-refundable. But, I will happily find a replacement photographer similar to my shooting style who will be available for you that day.
*All photos will still be hand edited by me.

What is your refund policy?

Any payments on the clients behalf made out to me leading up to your wedding/session is non-refundable.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝:

• I cant make your wedding due to an emergency, illness, family death, etc.

• I can't find a backup photographer who is available that day to replace me.

• The client has become ill/family emergency/etc. and can no longer attend their own wedding/session.

Where are you based, and do you travel?

You bet I do! I'm based in Asheville, NC and my life revolves around travel whether it's vacation or a work trip, and I will gladly travel to YOU! Travel fees will apply if I'm traveling an hour outside of Asheville in any direction or not already visiting your location.

Travel fees, 𝐛𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐰, must include gas, wear/tear, flights, stays, Airbnb's, rental car, convenience, etc.

Do you require contracts?

Yes! Without contracts, nothing is ever legally documented. Verbal agreements are not acceptable. Contracts protect myself and my business and any legal documentation that I have to have as a business owner. It also provides my clients a sense of relief that whatever is in the contract will also be signed and dated by me, holding me accountable for any discrepancies that I don't abide by.

If you don't sign and return the E-contract to me before your wedding date, I legally cannot shoot your wedding.

Contracts cover finances, injuries to myself or business, stolen property, meals, first and last names of all parties included, payment plans, signatures, dates, details involving your wedding/session, etc.

What happens if you can't make my event?

It is very, very unlikely for me to miss any wedding or event that I've booked. But, in the rare circumstance that it does happen (whether I become ill, family emergency, etc) I will immediately hire a very talented and reliable back up photographer for you. If I absolutely cannot find an available photographer for your desired date, I will of course give you a full 100% refund.

Do I have to put down a deposit to book with you?

Yes!
For weddings, I require a 30% deposit. For all other packages, I require a 50% deposit.
Putting your deposit down GUARANTEES your spot on my calendar. That day is reserved for you and you only.
𝐈 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞.

If you cannot pay the deposit upon booking, you'll have to assume that someone else can request that date too. Dates are first come first serve. Please be courteous and mindful of other people, as they are looking for photographers too!

Do I need to add a second photographer?

Yes and no. But I have several reasons why second shooters are just as important as the main shooter.
𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲. Having a second shooter makes taking photos SO much more efficient, especially during large group photos. They can help organize and rearrange people to save a ton of time during the family portion. They also get other angles/shots/details that I may not be able to get myself.
𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲. Most of the time, second shooters will help me nearly double the entire finished gallery which is so important to me. I want my clients to have as many photos as possible, which is only possible with a second.

How would you describe your style?

I would describe my style as light, classic and timeless.

But, I never limit myself to anything because as a creative, stepping beyond our boundaries is what makes us even better at what we do. :)

Do you provide timeline assistance?

Yes! once I have both forms from you (booking form and wedding photo timeline), I will create a timeline of your wedding so that everything runs as smooth as possible. of course I cant always guarantee that everything will run perfectly on time, but I will always do my absolute best to make sure it does.
If you do have your own wedding timeline already, I'd love to see it and make that one work as best as possible!

What is your turn around time?

I generally try my best to deliver the final wedding/elopement gallery within 6-8 weeks post shooting. I always send out a small group of photos within 24-72 hours as a sneak peek to each client. If I'm running behind on editing, I will make it a priority to let each individual know so that they stay up to date on my behalf.

For all other packages, the final gallery will be delivered to you no later than 2-4 weeks.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! But for wedding packages only.
Investing in a photographer is a huge deal. I know first hand when I got married.
But, I'm here to take that same stress that you may be feeling and toss it right in the trash. I want you to feel so financially stress free that you've hardly had a reason to worry- especially if you book with me in advance. Now that I know you and you know me, we are a TEAM from this point on. So if you have any questions about payment plans, I'm here to help, always.

I'm ready to book with you! Now what?

Heck yeah! I'm so excited to get you on my schedule and become the best of friends. from here on out, I will make sure everything is under my belt, as long as communication stays top priority!

All you have to do is fill out the specific form that you're inquiring about under "BOOK ME", review & sign a contract, pay the deposit and boom, you're booked. it's seriously that easy!
